Mr. LaRocca joined LaPlante Sowa Goldman as a litigation associate in 2008. He focuses his practice in real estate, contract, and commercial litigation, landlord/tenant law, municipal law, and zoning, planning, and land use.
During law school, Mr. LaRocca served as a legal intern to a Justice of the Rhode Island Superior Court, where he gained valuable experience participating in chambers conferences and courtroom proceedings. He also completed an externship with the Honorable Justice William E. Smith in the United States District Court, District of Rhode Island where he assisted Justice Smith with research and preparing Court opinions, and participated in the consideration of numerous Federal Court cases. During law school, Mr. LaRocca served as the Rhode Island Editor for the Roger Williams University Law Review and a faculty research assistant for several professors.
Mr. LaRocca graduated cum laude from the Roger Williams University School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. LaRocca received a B.A., cum laude, from Connecticut College with a double-major in History and Government. While at Connecticut College, Mr. LaRocca was a member of Student Judiciary Board and the Men's Ice Hockey team.
